Our Story
Sagecraft was founded by Ryan Grulich after a deeply personal experience.
Ryan spent years helping care for his Great Uncle Ron, who lived with kidney failure and remained on dialysis for fourteen years. As Ron’s health declined, maintaining even a small apartment became difficult.
Ryan began hiring housekeeping teams to help, but the costs quickly became unsustainable due to the medical challenges involved.
Eventually he built a small team dedicated to restoring Ron’s home environment.
When Ron’s home was clean, organized, and peaceful, his mood lifted and his energy improved.
That experience revealed something powerful.
A well-kept home doesn’t just look better—it can improve wellbeing.
Sagecraft was created to bring that same sense of calm and care to homes throughout Lake County and West Orange County.
The Craft Behind Our Work
Before founding Sagecraft, Ryan worked in live entertainment and experiential production.
In theatre and live events, environments are carefully crafted to create a specific feeling the moment someone enters a space. This discipline is known as stagecraft.
Sagecraft brings that same mindset into the home—restoring order, resetting the environment, and allowing a space to feel balanced again.

Every craft has its tools. Ours happens to include a broom.
Sage, the Sagecraft mascot, represents the quiet craft of restoring order to a home.
She is also the living embodiment of Frances, Ryan’s partner and collaborator. With a broom in hand and a sharp eye for detail, she reminds us that cleaning is not just work—it’s a craft.
