The thing about a rural property is that almost all the dirt in it arrived through one or two doors, and it is not house dust.
It is sand, clay from an unpaved drive, cut grass, pine needles and whatever the dogs brought in. It behaves nothing like household dust. It is heavy, it does not float, and it stays close to the floor — which means it concentrates in a fifteen-foot radius of each exterior door and then gets walked deeper into the house over the following week.
So a clean here is organised differently. Entry zones first and hardest: the mudroom, the garage step, the back door, the mats and the first stretch of floor inside each one. Get those right and the rest of the house stays cleaner for longer, because you have cut off the supply rather than chasing it around.
